Help for Malawi, Africa

The righteous consider the cause of the poor - Proverbs 29:7

12 million Africans call Malawi home, one of the poorest countries in the world. Most of the population wrestles to survive disease and death. 15% of the people suffer from HIV and AIDS. 1 million orphans struggle to drink clean water and eat a nutritious meal. With the average life span at only 39 years of age, I would be a distinguished senior citizen there. We can do something about it!

Join this single mom on a mission as I partner with extreme dream team, a ministry that continues to impact the lives of people around the world. The one message is that Christ came to give us abundant life. I know what it’s like to walk in the valley of the shadow of death and know that goodness and mercy till follow those who choose to believe (Psalm 23).

As I travel and minister to these beautiful people would you agree to pray against poverty and death as we feed and help meet their physical needs, and encourage their spirits? Please help to Partner and Pray for Malawi. You can give online to help go to www.extremedream.ca

Your life is significantly making a difference. Thank you!

God Bless you!

Living on the other side of CANCER

As you may already know, I have come through one of the greatest trials of my life. I am eternally grateful for God’s amazing grace and your constant prayers.

The Problem:

I asked God, “What do I do with the rest of my life? Where do I live? Whom do I marry? Where do I dedicate my time and my energy? Lord, how can my life have significance?”

The Solution:

After seeking the Lord, His response was simple. First, He reminded me of His great purpose and plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11). Then He asked me a vital question that would direct and guide me to the solution. He whispered in my heart, “I hear your concerns, and I want you to first answer this question Eileen. Will you allow your life to be a fruitful one?” God’s greatest treasures are people. He too is concerned that my life is not lived in vain.

The Strategy:

Although life as a single mom presents it’s challenges, I have been given a great opportunity to reach young people as I weekly speak to college and high school students. Through NuNation, a ministry that was co-founded by Roosevelt, I am gathering an army of trained disciples and directing students to live with God’s purpose as they win their generation for Christ.

As I aspire to travel monthly, I am called to encourage and equip women. I speak at churches and conferences as women are refreshed and restored through the cross of Christ and His resurrection power.

In the next few weeks, I am getting ready to travel to one of the poorest countries in the world Malawi, Africa. I will minister where the average life span is 36 years of age. 70% of the people are infected with deadly diseases. I will travel to orphanages and speak in the villages. It is a privilege and an honor to follow where Roosevelt spoke over a year ago and minister to these beautiful people.

Please Help! Many of you have been personally blessed by the obedience and the life of Roosevelt Hunter. You have wondered how you can invest in this good ground. Please participate through prayer and partnership. Help me to reach students. Help me to encourage and to equip women, especially widows and single moms. And finally, help me touch the lives of people around the world.

I know you want to help me advance God’s Kingdom. Pray and Partner with me.

Your sis and friend

Roosevelt Hunter Leaves a Legacy.mp4

Today, I come not discussing the storms of life, but peace on the other side. I’m not highlighting the difficulties of being a single parent or a widow, but remembering sixteen years of loyalty and friendship. I’m not even concentrating on the tragic fragments left behind, but on the promise of what lies ahead!

Trinity and Israel are full of life and understand God has allowed us to continue on with purpose. They are currently writing a book on their personal experiences. Trinity’s goal is to speak Spanish and travel with mommy in ministry. Israel is keenly aware that he is a part of a wonderful legacy. He wants to rescue every damsel in distress, destroy any enemy on his path, and be a superhero just like his dad. They are moving forward as they experience new adventures which lie ahead.

Isa 43:18-19

"Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (THE MESSAGE)

God has already done something NEW. I can see it. Apostle Paul said one thing: Forgetting those things which are behind; press forward to those things which are ahead. (Phil 3:13)

The Holy Spirit gave me three things to be proactive and make room for the NEW thing he’s done:

First, PREPARE by enthusiastically expecting from God; secondly, SEPARATE by giving and letting go of old things that clutter my life; and finally EMBRACE the new changes, the new ideas, and the new lifestyle.

As I reflect on the life of a legend, Roosevelt Hunter; I am able to see my future better because of him. God has not finished writing the story; there are new chapters yet to come.

I will need your prayers, as I continue to travel and minister to others. I am getting ready to do my first international trip to Malawi, Africa; a wonderful place where Roosevelt poured his compassion. The Lord has now given me the privilege to minister as well. The road ahead is unknown, I am holding tightly to our Savior’s hand as he navigates me into his new plan.

Love,

Your sister and friend,

Eileen

Roosevelt's Last Message

LLast one... Best one!

It did not dawn on me till today, that Rho preached his last public sermon this day last year: It thrills me to know that I had the privilege to walk in covenant with one of God's most trusted generals. I remember that morning clearly: He stood on the platform, quickened by the Holy Spirit, as He delivered what would be a timely and prophetic word to me and to thousands of others for years to come.

Title: Event Vs. Encounter

Text: Isaiah 6:1- 8

Many of us allow the enemy to eclipse the encounter God desires to bring our way, with catastrophic events that surround us. "In the year that King Uzziah died." (Isaiah 6:1) How devastating to have what you hoped for, believed in, just vanish.

I can remember sitting on the pew feeling rattled ... Why is Rho preaching from this text? I am trying to stay anchored Lord, why did the king have to die?

Isaiah reminds us that in that same year... I also saw the Lord...

More than just sight, that day, Isaiah received insight that would change his ministry life and Israel forever.

In the year of Roosevelt's homegoing, I also saw the Lord remain faithful to give me peace, keep hope alive, love me unconditionally. I am not completely defined by the events in my life, but by those wonderful moments when God shows up and allows me to encounter His love and plans for me and the kids.

Like Isaiah, I found my self looking up to heaven, recognizing that our God is Holy and unparalleled to any other. His ways, thoughts, and promises far exceed my humanity. Like Isaiah who said woe is me I am undone, I needed to take an inward inventory, recognizing God must change me in order to accomplish great things. Finally Isaiah, who said; Here am I, send me; I must allow my life to be marked by compassion for others.

Roosevelt knew this was His last recorded message and it meant more to him that when you look back in this year, for you to remember how God's been faithful show up just for you.

Win Your World

Roosevelt’s contagious passion to do great things for Christ has marked my journey. He would tell me, “Eileen, God wants to raise up and rescue a fallen generation!” Many times I have felt completely inadequate to do anything of significance. I can list off my limitations in a matter of microseconds. What me? A Single-mom? What can I possibly bring of value?

“I can’t do everything, but I can do something” - Helen Keller. How can I just sit back and not participate in the greatest generation that ever lived?

In the past 11months of widowhood, I have been forced to trust God to move forward daily. Not allowing my feelings or past circumstances, but God’s Word to navigate my forward momentum. Quitting is the EASY way out! If I left it up to my feelings or my past, I would never get out of bed. God told me to lean on Him and He will direct my path (Prov. 3:5-7).

July 18th I was able to host our first graduating class for NuNation. With a team of leaders and volunteers, we mobilized 22 students through academic training and hands on ministry. I have learned so much from stepping out in faith and offering to God what I did have. We will begin again in the fall as we believe for twice this amount of interns.

Now, I can’t preach like Rho, or sing/dance like many of the talented people I see on stage; but I can be a voice. A voice that declares His Testimony (Revelation 12:11), a voice that shouts His Cause (Isaiah 1: 17), and a voice that cries out in the wilderness (Mark 1:3) to prepare this generation for Christ’s soon return. It doesn’t seem like very much, but it’s something. It’s my offering!

Why not give what ever you have? I know first hand, that life is too short to waste it on things that don’t bring eternal value. You are a gift to this generation that no one else can be. Dreaming God’s dreams, will remove limits! You may find that if you dare to dream you may win the world!

Healing Others

“Hurt people hurt others, but healed people heal others.”

This phrase left an indelible mark on my life. I had just come back from a personal retreat, one that was recommended by my Pastors Bray and Diane Sibley. He and his wife told me, “Take time away without the children and allow the Lord to bring closure, and healing in areas that you have not exposed to Him yet.” I thought, “Okay what do I have to lose?” I went up to Shreveport, LA to spend time with my spiritual big brother and sister, Pastors Denny and DeAnza Duron. It was a five hour trip, and I’m not much for road trips. I listened to audio books; I brought journals Roosevelt had left behind; and plenty of photo albums. I did not know just what to expect, but I knew I needed to do this. I was amazed at what would become of this time. For days I cried, I wept, I prayed, I listened to new praise and worship (Anthony Evans). Something was happening on the inside of me. A transformation took place. It finally dawned on me that I went back to the place where I was married, and I first started my ministry life with Rho. God visited my pain and healed me. Yes! I left that place healed.

While I was there, Pastor Robert Morris (Gateway Church Southlake, TX) preached at a conference Denny hosted. He talked about, “The Blessed Life”. It was at that altar that I received two impartations. I received the gift of giving, and the gift of healing. These strictly belong to God, but he has imparted them to me. All I could do was retreat back to the hotel and spend time in His presence. On my road trip back I listened to Pastor Joel Olsteen’s audio book It’s Your Time. Only God could set me up for such a great miracle.

My children, Trinity Joy and Israel David are doing remarkable. I don’t assume that; we talk, talk, and talk some more about it. They will be traveling with me on Mother’s Day as we preach in Winston Salem First A/G under the leadership of Dr. Mike and Darla Rakes. I will have two weeks and then turn around to be part of a large youth conference in Alberta, Canada with Mike Love.

My assignment is simple. It is to always bring healing to others; through the magnificent way my Savior has brought healing to me. So many of us carry sickness, emotional wounds, and pain, this is not what God intended. He desires above all that we would prosper and be in health! (3 John 1:2)

Update:

Pthirtyone is my ministry name as I travel once or twice a month. I would love to connect with you as we complete this website by June. I am on facebook, twitter and have email. The adventure is just beginning. I love you!

It's a New Season

As I have journeyed this lonely, painful, road of grief and suffering; it has not been in vain. My life is forever changed. I could have resisted the change, but it would have made me go around in circles, only making my journey that much longer. I am convinced that my embrace to change and surrender to a sovereign, loving Father is getting me through this season. Personally, I can’t believe I have endured such hardship… What? Yes! Hardship! It’s un-American! I always seem to confine Christ to my idealistic views, only to find out that my ideology is not even Biblical. Don’t get me wrong, God does not desire to punish and hurt his children. Yet, he does desire for me to remain faithful to him no matter what I face, knowing he is trustworthy.

I have learned so much about Eileen without Roosevelt. I was forced to confront who I really am and what I am really made of. Many times it was easier for me to crawl under a rock and hide, even from my two little treasures, Trinity and Israel. Forgive me, you tried to contact me on Facebook and Twitter, but quite frankly I was too busy waiting upon the Lord. In the next few weeks I will be traveling to a solitary place for a personal retreat. I have remained hidden, because I am asking God to renew my strength. It is necessary for me to go to the mountain top in my quest for the Lord.

Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired- AMP

To renew: (verb) give somebody or something new energy; replace something used up; make something new again (Encarta Dictionary)

This April 10th marks the eighth month of my widowhood. Eight signifies the number of new beginning. New! I like that word. My life is re- NEW-ed!!! I have so much life ahead of me! My sneakers are on and I will be ready to run! God has remained faithful. You are all so dear to me. Thank you for praying for us!

Trinity has accompanied me as I spoke at Pastor George and Phyllis Sawyer’s Church in Decatur, AL. Trinity and Israel will be traveling with me, as I am preaching a Mother’s Day message at Dr. Mike and Darla Rakes church in Winston- Salem, N.C. Thank you, we could not have come through this season without. Roosevelt was there for you and now you have been here for us! We love and appreciate you!
